Midweek Service of Morning Prayer for Ascension Day
Here is a service of Morning Prayer for Ascension Day, using the Book of Common Prayer. The service is led by Mike, with Mary reading the lesson and leading us in two prayers.
We use the Athanasian Creed as appointed for the day - a rich celebration of the glorious truths of the Trinity and Incarnation, sadly neglected for length in the modern church.
If you have a prayer book, the service starts on page 1 of the BCP. The creed is on page 27 and the collect on page 144.
