Mary grew up in a Christian home, hearing from the Bible and singing Colin Buchanan songs! The refrain of her favourite, “The Lord is King, He’s gonna look after everything, Every single thing in this world”, became increasingly precious as she learned to trust in Jesus, our Saviour and King, for herself.  She is excited to be able to spend a year studying God’s Word and serving the church which has been her home since she was 7 day’s old.

She is a bookworm who also loves time with her family, embroidery, knitting, cooking, the trumpet/piano, and God’s creation (whether gardening, camping or hiking). Next year she will complete the final year of a Geography degree at Lancaster University.
