“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly … singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” – Colossians 3.16
When Christians gather, we sing. Not because we’re all gifted singers, but because singing is one of the ways God has given us to praise him and respond to his word.
At St John’s, our hope each Sunday is simple: that our music — whether led by the organ or the band, whether centuries old or newly written — would help us lift our hearts to the Lord together, and that his word, sung back to him, would shape the people we’re becoming in Christ.
Newcomers are always welcome. No need to know the tunes or sing in tune — just come and join in.
