Children's Groups Growing Together in Faith
Age specific groups for children aged 0-14 run most Sunday mornings during term time – except when it is our monthly ‘All-Age’ service.
Our group for young people aged 14-18 currently meets on a Sunday evening. Please click here for details about our 11-18 groups.
All our leaders are appropriately DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.
On Sunday mornings we love to meet together as a church family of all ages. That’s why we always begin and end the services with our young people included.
After about 10-15 minutes the children leave the 10am service and meet their groups leaders in the Church Extension where they are checked-in and then walked down to the Church Centre where they enjoy time getting to know each other and God better.
At the end of their session the children are returned to their families and rejoin the final part of the service.
A creche for pre-schoolers is available throughout and parents can make use of this by dropping their children off in the Church Centre anytime from 9.45am.
Creche (ages 0 – 3)

Our creche provides a great opportunity for babies and toddlers to play and learn about Jesus in a fun and safe environment while their parents are in the 10am Church Service.
Children can be dropped off and registered in creche any time between 9:45 and 10:00am or parents can bring them to the church centre when the older children leave for their groups.
On arrival at creche, parents choose either to collect their child themselves or to have him/her brought to them by the creche helpers towards the end of the service.
Scramblers (ages 3 – 5)

We love introducing young children to God, His word, and His love.
We value fellowship, encouraging children to greet each other, play, and share their week.
Sessions follow a simple pattern: a game, a recap of previous lessons, a Bible story, and a craft linked to the lesson.
Children enjoy singing songs with actions and end with a short prayer. You’re welcome to accompany your child while they settle in.
Climbers (ages 5 – 7)

In Climbers, we aim to worship the Lord Jesus with the children by helping them encounter him through his Word, the Bible.
We engage through fun games, crafts, and occasionally learn a memory verse together too!
Adventurers (ages 7 – 9)

In Adventurers we love to let children encounter God personally in the Bible.
We want each child to feel welcomed and loved by Jesus as we journey alongside them on this incredible adventure to which God has called us. And we have a lot of fun doing it too!
Explorers (ages 9 – 11)
- School years: 5 – 6
- Leader: Gordon
In Explorers we help the young people to explore God’s word and through that learn about God’s saving love for us. We will normally have a short bible passage study. This is supported by relevant games, (some more so than others🤣) and hopefully lots of fun.
