Ian Barton
Ian served as Churchwarden for 14 years before being made Warden Emeritus, an honourary role, in 2023. He’s also a house group leader and occasionally leads services in St John’s, usually when no-one else is available!
Ian’s been a Christian since he was a teenager, and has been at St John’s since 1992. Married to Jackie, with two grown-up daughters and a grandson.
Now retired, he looks after the church IT and helps out with the AV systems. He’s often to be heard advising the staff team to try turning it off and on again!
