Jon was born in Chester, but his formative years were spent in north London where he committed his life to Jesus aged 10 after hearing the testimony of blind singer-songwriter Marilyn Baker.

He has previously lived in the north of Scotland (helping to plant and lead a local church while doing his ‘day’ job on an RAF Nimrod!) and Newcastle-upon-Tyne (where he was an Assistant Minister at Jesmond Parish Church).

Jon is married to Debs and they have three sons: Nathan, Jacob & Thomas. He loves watching films, listening to music and hiking!
