Who We Are
Officially ‘St John the Baptist, Hartford Parish Church’, most will know us simply as St John’s, Hartford or Hartford Parish Church!
We are a welcoming, evangelical, Anglican church serving the friendly community of Hartford, a village on the edge of Northwich in Cheshire.
We’re part of Chester Diocese in the Church of England and are affiliated to many vibrant Anglican evangelical groups such as Church of England Evangelical Council, ReNew, Church Society and GAFCON.

Our Motto
Our church has a rich history of worship, community, and outreach. We’re committed to spreading God’s good news of rescue both locally and beyond. We therefore support a number of mission partners; their work reaches right across the globe. Some are short-term workers choosing to serve for a year or two, whilst others have committed many years to serving God in different ways and different places.
Our Mission
Our motto at St John’s is:
“Walking in truth, living in love”.
Our conviction is that when God’s word the Bible is faithfully taught, God’s voice is clearly heard. We aim to let God’s love for us and Christ’s authority over us govern all we do as a church.
