St John's Church

If you're visiting St John's Church, on-street parking may be available, but we recommend parking in the Church Centre car park if possible. The church doesn't have its own postcode, so use the Church Centre postcode (CW8 1NP) instead.

Please note: If you are looking for a parking space outside St John's, Chester Road can be very busy, particularly on Sunday mornings. If you park illegally, for example within 10m of traffic lights, you run the risk of receiving a parking ticket.

St John's Church Centre is on School Lane in Hartford. The postcode is CW8 1NP.

Sat Nav users please note: our part of School Lane is a one-way street, running north to south. If you use our postcode, some sat-navs may direct you to a side road off School Lane. If you are coming up School Lane from the A556, please ignore your sat-nav and keep left up The Green, passing the church on your right, then turn right onto Chester Road and finally right again into School Lane.

The Church Centre has a good-sized car park, but it does quickly get full for larger events. If you park on the local streets, please show consideration for our neighbours and never restrict access to their properties.

Visiting By Train

We are located near to Hartford Station (on the main line between Crewe and Liverpool) and Greenbank Station (on the Chester to Manchester line). Both stations are about 15 to 20 minutes walk away.
