We are delighted to announce the launch of our free 'Family Box of Fun', full of challenges, activities and crafts to fill up a socially distanced summer holiday.
The boxes have been created for those families who don't come to church often, or at all, and who have children aged 3-10 years old. All the interactive activities are linked to the theme of our churchyard scarecrow 'Jesus feeds the 5000'. If your family has got a box already and would like to print out more of the templates that were provided, you can find them all here.
If your family hasn't received a box, you can still take part. You will find the 'Family Box of Fun' booklet in the pdfs below. You can print this off at home, or if you don't have access to a printer, simply read it on the screen. You will also find all the pdfs of the crafts, quizzes, treasure hunt etc below. This will give you all the information that would have been in the box. You will just need to supply your own bits and pieces for some of the activities (items needed include pegs, yeast, bamboo skewers, chalk, string, play dough, plasters, smarties, balloons, magnet, paper clips).
Note to parents and carers
Please be aware that some of the items in this box require adult supervision.
A big thank you to the following local businesses who have kindly donated many of the items in your Family Box of Fun;
ASDA, B&Q and Tesco
And thank you to Gilroy Wilson shoe shop in Northwich for giving us many of the empty shoe boxes!
